about
As Many Chances As It Needs, written by Jimmy Yessian and Eddie Cunningham
First thing’s first, EDDIE CUNNINGHAM IS NOW EDDIE LEROY CUNNINGHAM…
.
I had to add my middle name as there are so many Eddie Cunningham’s….
Now, lets get started, I’ve been busy mixing my record (and doing vocal over dubs) that I recorded at Paul Marshall’s (some years back) home studio in California and currently our song, “These Aren’t The Days” (written with Paul) is set to be featured in a motion picture (details soon) and my song “Give Love As Many Chances As It Needs”, written with Jimmy “Muffin” Yessian is on a special tribute record in his honor as he struggles with cancer. A lot of folks have recorded my music including Ben E. King (If You Need A Miracle), Gram Parsons Notebook, Moe Bandy, Chris Darrow, John Ford Coley (She’s Always Talking with Angel’s), Dale Watson (High but, I Ain’t Holding), Aireene Espiritu and The Bum Steers (Lonely Mrs. Lonesome), Mark Insley (Lay Your Burden Down), Todd Fritsch (Memory Do Your Thing), Paul Marshall, Boy Howdy, Big House, Pete Martinez, Cowboys & Indians, Deborah Hightower, Aly’an (Bad Cowboy) , Judy Toy (Sweet Baby) , HeXx Henderson (currently working with him on his record) Buddy Jewel, Jenny Slate, and others and I’ve written with some of the best in the industry including Dennis Knutson, Steve Bogard, Kim Fowley, Chris Farren, Jeffrey Steele, Wendy Waldman (Why), Desmond Child (I Am Your Man), A.L.’Doodle’ Owens, Kostas and many others. I was named the ‘Songwriter of the Year’ and ‘Male vocalist of the )Year’ by the California Country Music Association and I was named the ‘Best Unsigned’ Country artists in America by becoming the Grand-Prize Winner in the Jim Beam Country Band Search at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville where I performed in front of a packed house with Montgomery Gentry headlining, filmed for CMT. I Topped the Americana charts with two songs featured on the Gram Parsons Tribute CD (thanks to Mike Alan Ward for giving me this opportunity) a legendary, history-making, Grammy-worthy project on Shellpoint Records. I’m singing a power gospel song called ‘Jesus Is More Than a Name’, which I co-wrote with Gram Parsons through his notebook. I also lent a hand and got co-production credits alongside Grammy Award winner Carl Jackson. *The album was nominated for three Grammy nominations and also includes Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Jim Lauderdale, The Elvis Band, Larry Cordle, Lona Heins, Leslie Satcher, Mike Ward, Eddie Dunbar & The Woody’s
